About the Role:
The role requires general cleaning of designated areas in an Aged Care environment and may involve onsite laundry work. An all-rounder who can also work across the hospitality department would be an asset.
As a hospitality worker your duties will be:
- Meeting safety, quality and hygiene standards
- Working to set schedules
- Setting up cleaning trolleys
- Cleaning resident rooms and bathrooms
- Cleaning communal areas
- Restocking all cleaning and hygiene supplies
- Conducting linen counts
- Completing cleaning records
- High Touch Point cleaning
- Basic food and cooking preparation
- Food delivery including serving, setting tables etc.
- Transportation of stores, equipment, provisions, etc.
- Comply with the food safety program and maintain basic records.
- Operate the industrial dishwasher
- Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
About you:
- You are reliable and responsible
- Able to work well without supervision
- Passionate about providing services to the elderly
- Have good communication and time management skills
- Have basic computer skills
- Be able to understand and adapt to different processes
Successful candidates will be provided ongoing training to meet the requirements of the role.
