DRAFT Strategic Priorities

Priority 1:

Delivery of person centred care and services

The older person is placed at the centre of care and is supported to make choices in how they want their care and supports delivered.

Priority 2:

Build an engaged and skilled workforce

Engage and retain workforce through measurable outcomes, efficient systems and consistent processes.

Priority 3:

Use best practice clinical care

Clinical care is  based on high-quality evidenced based practice to ensure clinical goals for older people are met.

Priority 4:

Support sustainable growth

Promote a growth business strategy for Home Care for improved access to services for older people in the community.

Priority 5:

The service environment meets the needs of older people

Capital budgeting and capital improvement plans are developed to ensure the infrastructure continues to meet the needs of older people.

Strengthen our governance expertise and systems

Improve systems and processes to ensure they are robust, systemic and support the workforce to deliver high quality and safe care services.
